Stone Sharpened

I stand gazing out over the field grass
High above my nose

Blade by my side edge glistening in the morning’s sun

I stand ready with my scythe
In a stance I begin to dance

As I sway

Swish swish through the grass
It lays them low

Swish swish I make a row

Swish swish I’m on a roll
Swish swish sweat pour

Swish swish half acre or so

Swish swish

I stop for a drink of water

Clothes drenched to the bones

Oh
The stone

Stone sharpen the blades edge

About billiescauldron

I am in transition. I see myself as a Spiritual Writer and as such my blog will slowly change with me still holding tight to being in the garden as a child loving my teacher.
