Esther it is

Our goats name is Esther. Thanks Deb and Nancy for responding to Name Our Goat.
I hate to admit the many times I have read the Bible I didn’t know when the name Esther was given as a possible name for our goat that it was a book in the Bible. I found out by looking up defintion at dictionary.com. I also found out that Esther’s Jewish name was Hadassah meaning myrtle.

I may end up with Billy a pygmy goat from the neighbor I gave Sarah to some years ago. If so then there will be 1 Billie me and 1 Billy billygoat. But I think I might get a male meat goat instead to keep Esther company. Billy is apparently sterile.

I had to move mother rabbit and the remaining of 3 youngens out of nine into the house with me. The temperture dipped to low last night and since mother being in a pen can not dig a burrow in mother earth to keep warm we lost 6 to my ignorance. Lesson learned well. Makes me wonder what lessons are to be learned from killing people, how to do it better? I don’t think thats the lesson the world (people) is (are) suppose to learn.
