Unkept Garden

Year after year I just can’t seem to stay on top my garden chores. Every year it ends up looking like this

untended garden

While out there today I was within 5 feet striking distance of this

this did not move while I took a shot and captured it on camera.

It, copperhead, remains alive and I without fangs in my tender flesh.

I chose not to return till winter, when it copperhead, is in hibernation, unless I use extreme caution to get the carrots that are in the ground. The sorrel I’ll wait for the weeds are to plentiful there.

Maybe next season the garden will be well kept and tended so the copperhead will stay away.

I am in transition. I see myself as a Spiritual Writer and as such my blog will slowly change with me still holding tight to being in the garden as a child loving my teacher.
