Living Dog Sense

Long time has past since this took place but thought I would share this tidbit of my life.
One cold winter day I saw my dog laying all curled up on the ground as if she was trying to stay warm. I wasn’t sure why she wasn’t in her dog house where I was sure she would be out of the winters elements. It struck, go put some straw in her house. I went out and did just that, the floor was bare. It wasn’t long and there she went choosing the warmth of the bedding inside her house instead of the warmth the bare earth provided against the winter elements.
In a sense I am like this too. The world and all its trouble is like the winter’s cold. Some of us choose to go instead and find warmth away from the troubled world. This is our heaven where we begin. My heaven grows from inside and although quite slowly it extends out inside my house inside my perimeter the boundary of my one acre. My garden grows in abundance this year. So much so I have been able to share. The kind hearted never asked for anything but offered to help willing to get my motorcycle going. They work on their own changing tires and fork oil and such. I am in no hurry for their generosity and greatly appreciate the offering so in return I supply greens from my garden not green backs laid on the table. So from my table to yours, who have you helped today?
