In the mirror of reflection,
What do you see?
Sometimes it is me in the mirror, sometimes it is my past, sometimes just me standing in front of the mirror in the present, sometimes a glimpse into what could be the future.
Sometimes when I look at others it is them I see, they display anger, confusion, puzzlement, understanding, love and much more.
But it is I, who am the judge of what I see, in the reflection.
We are the representative of ourself.
Do we always display the truth or is it a lie?
Do we display what we want others to believe?
Or do we display the truth in all matters of living life?
Are we on the verge of a wake up call of understanding?
Like shedding our skin of the past like snakes as we grow.
Yes that we do, from birth as we grow. We don’t shed it all at once, but it flakes off when dry, or comes off as we scrub with water moistening our skin.
Revealing a new but yet old layer as our body grows and changes. For many the years of age might end, as the skin wrinkles or tightens.
All give birth from inside male and female alike shedding skin.
